Position Overview:

Nano Clicks LLC is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data warehousing, and data pipeline development. This role involves working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement robust data solutions that support our mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration, data warehousing, and analytics.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

  • Implement and manage data storage solutions, including relational databases, data lakes, and NoSQL databases.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through effective data governance and best practices.

  • Optimize and tune data processing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation to support data architecture.

  • Monitor data pipeline performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data engineering technologies and industry best practices, and integrate them into our data infrastructure where appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or similar.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science workflows.

  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools.

  • Prior experience working on government contracts and knowledge of federal acquisition regulations.
